At The Maya Mexican Restaurant In Santa Maria, CA On Our Way Back Home From Visiting My Mom And Brother In Guadalupe, CA So We Stopped By Here To Get Our Feast On..!! We Were Quickly Greeted And Seated By Our Waitress. We Ordered Our Drinks I Got An Agua Fresca De Jamaica, And My Fiancée Ordered The Michelada With Corona. I Ordered Menudo With Pata And Grano And Corn Tortilla's Breakfast Of MEXICAN CHAMPIONS...!! My Fiancée Ordered The Chilaquiles With Eggs, Papas, And Beans. Gonna FEAST..!!!!! Ooopsie Almost Forgot SANCHITOS Doggy Bowl Catered To Pets Grilled Chicken With No Seasoning And

I needed my menudo fix and decided to check out the Maya. I'd been there before but never had their menudo. I'm glad I came back and tried it. It was hearty, not greasy, and I had enough left to enjoy another serving of this wonderful tasting soup. The service was just as good as the soup. Can't go wrong at the Maya.
Off the grid on a side street. Very nice inside lots of art and colors. Nice Mexican American vibe! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checked in on us many times. My wife had Enchiladas with rice and beans. I had the Pozole very good lots of flavor. Salsa had a kick and delicious.
We came from Pismo Beach and we usually stop off the 101 at a taco truck we love, but they weren't there. We googled somewhere and found this spot and gave it a try. We asked to sit outside so we can keep an eye on our truck because our two dogs were inside, and the host said "Sure, bring the dogs too!" We were shocked. It's hard to find dog friendly places nowadays. So when we came back with the dogs, the hist even brought out two bowls of water, and two bowls of plain shredded chicken to feed them. This is by far the most welcoming experience we've had out with our dogs, and the food we ordered was awesome. The inside was full of people and a band playing, and we were still served quickly. Please give this spot a try, you won't regret it. You will feel right at home. Thank you guys for the awesome service!
I ordered the small menu do and my wife ordered the chili relleno. Outstanding! The server was very accommodating and was friendly. Alicia was our server. The place with music was comforting.
Love this place, always a winner for my family and friends! It's my mom's go-to restaurant and I have yet to find a place that she brags more about! I can honestly say I agree with her, the refresh / facelift on the inside looks great the staff is always polite and kind :) Honestly no complaints about anything other than it being packed lol but that just goes to show you how much people outside my house and family love The Maya as well! Keep up the amazing work you guys :] you make my heart happy and my tummy full
